We have had the pleasure of having "Wes" as part of our family. He is a part of our family because of his fun loving disposition and his excellent work ethic. GW spotted him in August of his futurity year at the SandHill Slide Futurity in Broken Bow,NE. Deon Locke had him and trained him from the start. We both loved his pedigree, eye catching appeal, and his great disposition. He was purchased shortly thereafter! GW got along with "Wes" immediately and absolutely loved riding him so he decided to show him in the Non Pro futurities. At the NRHA Futurity he made it back to the finals in the Limited Non Pro division. As a 4 year old "Wes" qualified for the AQHA World Show, winning several AQHA Open & Amateur classes. He also was the Champion in the CPRHA 4 year old Big Red Challenge in both the Open & Non Pro divisions! To date "Wes" has won over $4500 in NRHA earnings and AQHA points. We look forward to seeing what he is going to give back to the industry with his foal crops to come!
